Into Broadband Satellite Internet

The chart at right compares the two levels of satellite Internet service offered byTicoSAT.

Each plan has a maximum number of megabytes available for download within a set time period, a maximum number of concurrent TCP/IP connections and a speed rating.

The recovery rate is the speed at which your service will recover its throughput potential, or, if the potential is exhausted, the speed that will be available during the recovery period.

To put 500 megabytes of download into perspective, consider this.

If you were downloading an evaluation copy of Adobe Photoshop, the download would be about 300 MB. That would swamp consumer-level satellite Internet, (169 MB) but you would still have plenty of room under Business Basic or Business Plus plans.
