DiRECWAY DW4020 System

The DiRECWAY DW4020 system provides a high-speed satellite Internet connection that can be shared among multiple users, with several high-performance options available.

The DW4020 does not require client software, making it perfect for Mac and UNIX applications. The DW4020 does not use or require a Windows operating system. The DW4020 runs all software and provides a standard ethernet interface to the user(s). There is no requirement for any special software to be loaded on any users machines.

The DW4020 DIRECWAY system communicates with satellites in a "two-way" manner; it receives (downstream) data and transmits (upstream) data through the system's antenna, over the satellite, and via the DIRECWAY Network Operations Center directly to the Internet. No phone line or dial-up connection is needed for operation.

Equipment Details:
The DIRECWAY DW4020 systems consists of a satellite antenna, matching integrated outdoor electronics, the IRU/ITU/IGU indoor units, cabling, mounting hardware and installation. If the Internet connection is to be shared, the DW4020 can perform this task by connecting directly to a hub, switch, router (including wireless), etc.

• Standard mounting hardware for either a penetrating roof mount or a side mount
• Dual 75' run of RG6. (Cable runs exceeding 75' will incur additional charge of $1.00 per foot.)
• Ground wire and grounding block.
• A maximum of 1 wall penetration, connectors and faceplates. (Additional wall penetrations will incur an extra charge.)
• The installer will verify the satellite link is active.
  (Installers are not responsible for connecting the service to the client's machines.)
• Customer responsible for loading DIRECWAY software on computer, and running Web setup.
• TicoSAT will have a Hughes Network Systems Certified installer contact the customer directly to make arrangements and schedule the installation. Any work in addition to the items listed above will be at an extra charge payable directly to the installer.
• Includes 2 hours round-trip drive time by the installer, from nearest major metropolitan area.
